On April 26, the First Youth and Children’s Karate Tournament was successfully held, organized by IKO Matsushima Northern Zone in Iquique- Chile
This event brought together participants from the Saiha, Garyu, and Seihin Dojos from IKO Matsushima Northern Zone, along with invited dojos from across the region.
The tournament featured two competitive disciplines: Kumite and Kata , with nearly 50 young athletes aged 6 to 17 showcasing their skills and dedication.
Over the course of nearly four hours, these young karatekas demonstrated the true spirit of our martial art—effort, discipline, and perseverance—in every match and performance.

On February 1st a seminar was held in Ovalle city, 405 km north of Santiago, Chile. The seminar was focused on Kumite, Kata and Tameshiwari.
There were more than 90 attendants from Coquimbo Region, and was given by Shihan Francisco Sandoval and Sensei Gonzalo Valderrama.

I.K.O. Matsushima All India Kyokushin Karate Full Contact Knockdown Open Tournament was held in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
This tournament was organized by Sensei Babu Nataraj, Branch Chief of Karnataka, India. All the Branch Chiefs of I.K.O. Matsushima India were present in this tournament.
