The camp leader was Shihan Klus Rex. The invited fighting coach was Ifl. Shihan Gyarmati Imre 2xEuropean Champion! Karatekas from ten countries participated in 4 training sessions per day. In addition, there was a judges’ meeting and a discussion of the European situation. The five days were excellently organized and spent in a family atmosphere. IKO Matsushima Hungary held its 2026 training camp in Miskolc from July 1st to July 5th
The trainings were held by Shihan Zsolt Tóth, Shihan Károly Vers, Shihan Vladimir Sekelj and myself. Our Croatian friends also participated in the camp. 16 people from my clubs participated in the event. There was also a judge training in the camp.

Central American Cup 2026 was held in Honduras.
On June 21, 2026, Panama Bustos Dojo proudly organized the Third Edition of the Gojunin Kumite, one of our most demanding and inspiring annual events.

On June 28, 2026, Panama Bustos Dojo had the honor of participating in the Japan Fair 2026, organized by the Embassy of Japan in Panama at Albrook Mall.
The event celebrates Japanese culture and attracts thousands of visitors each year. Our dojo participated with an exhibition booth where attendees were able to learn about Kyokushin Karate, as well as a live demonstration on the main stage featuring kihon, kata and kumite performed by our students.

On Saturday, July 11th, 2026 the 7th National Tournament “La Serena Cup” was held in Coliseo Monumental in the City of La Serena, in the North of Chile.
This amazing tournament was organized by Karate and Contact Club “La Serena Dojo” directed by Sensei Gonzalo Valderrama and Sensei Gabriela González, and included infant, youth and adult categories for both Kata and Kumite competitions.
In between competitions there was a presentation of a Fencing Academy from the city of La Serena. The audience was really surprised and motivated to see the basics of this ancient discipline.
