On July 25, 2025, exemplary performances in Kyokushin Karate were held at the sports ground of the ABAD neighborhood located at 18 Gara Garayev Street, Nizami District, on the occasion of the “26 July – Day of the Establishment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan”. The event was organized jointly by the Youth and Sports Sector of the Baku City Youth and Sports Department for Nizami District and the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, with the support of the Nizami District Executive Power and the Nizami District Housing and Communal Services Union.

During the month of August, the 6th International Kyokushin Karate Matsushima Seminar was held, led by Shihan Claudio Toledo Olivares, bringing together instructors and students from various dojos.
The event enabled the technical and philosophical strengthening of Kyokushin Karate, and the reinforcement of international bonds among practitioners and leaders affiliated with I.K.O. Matsushima.

The 6th I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA WORLD WEIGHT KYOKUSHIN KARATE TOURNAMENT will be held in Maebashi city, Gunma pref. Japan on 29th,30th Nov.2025.
The tournament are scheduled to be held on 29th & 30th November 2025 on behalf of NPO I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA Kyokushinkaikan. We also have the international meeting, the training class and Dan grading test on 1st December.

From June 5 to June 17 we had the privilege of having Shihan Rex (European Chairman)and Shihan Lukyanchikov(European Vice-Chairman) in Chile, with whom we arranged a winter tour from the south and north of Chile, giving seminars as well as teaching classes in the Dojos of Santiago.
It has been a great experience for all the members of IKO Matsushima Chile, as well as a true reflection of our teachers and continuing growth as a world organization encouraging us to continue working together and to be able to reflect all the Budo that they transmitted to us.

The 6th National Karate Tournament was held in Serena,Chile on 12th June 2025.
This tournament was organizad by Sensei Gabriela Gonzalez and Sensei Gonzalo Valderrama, plus the outstanding assistance of Senpai Angel Herrera. This tournament was held in Coliseo Municipal de La Serena. It’s located 474 kilometers north of Santiago.
La Serena Tournament, cheered with great energy more than 200 participants. With a total of 17 schools invited, Dojos from different parts of the country traveled many hours to be part of this great event.

The Brazilian Kyokushin Karate Championship, organized under the Brazil Matsushima Organization (Sensei Renata Borba) and Sensei Luciano Pedrosa (Ichiban Dojo), was successfully held on June 28, 2025.
The event gathered athletes from several regions of Brazil, with competitions in both Kata and Kumite, and it was marked by strong spirit (Osu no Seishin), discipline, and respect among all participants.

The 2025 European Kyokushin Summer Camp, held under the auspices of the I.K.O. Matsushima Kyokushin Karate Organization, took place from July 10th to 13th in the scenic lakeside town of Möhnesee, Germany. This annual event brought together over 75 dedicated karateka from across Europe, creating a vibrant and disciplined training environment rooted in the spirit of *Osu* and Kyokushin tradition.

On Saturday, May 31st, our Matsushima Northern Zone Karate organization held a Kyu Test at the facilities of Eagles College, Iquique – Chile, where more than 35 students — including children, youth, and adults — were evaluated. Over the course of more than five hours, all participants underwent various physical and technical tests, in accordance with our Matsushima karate program, demonstrating great spirit characteristic of our Kyokushin Karate.
