In 31.01.2015, 12 competitors from Karate Kyokushin IKO Matsushima Polska: Jakub Wyciszkiewicz, Mateusz Wietrak, Andżelika Magda, Wioleta Kotwica, Daniel Ozimek, Olga Wietrak, Mateusz Mazur, Rafał Olszewski, Mirosław Jurowczyk, Przemysław Ciborowski, Ewelina Jurowczyk and Karol Lipowicz took part in International Karate Carpathia Cup 2015 Tournament in Rzeszów. Sensei Robert Wyciszkiewicz – Branch Chief Poland was our team manager. In this tournament took part 385 competitors from 8 countries: Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Sweden and Poland. After few hours of fights our competitors won:
• Mateusz WIETRAK – 2nd place junior – 65 kg
• Mateusz MAZUR – 3rd place younger +60 kg
• Mirosław JUROWCZYK – 3rd place senior + 80 kg

I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA International championships was held in Chile on 30th January 31 February 1.
We have the presence of Brazil and Peru, also of several national organizations that provided an important framework for athletes (150 athletes) and significant assistance of the public who filled the two days of competition and the last day of seminar and examination of shodan and nidan, led by shihan nagata.

Ukrainian Open cup among juveniles and juniors was held in Brovary on November 30th 2014. The competition was organized by Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate Federation. There were 170 fighters from 13 regions of Ukraine, competing in 23 different categories.

The 5th I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA Pakistan National Kyokushin Championship were organized and for the first time in Pakistan’s history we organized under fifteen Kyokushin Kata, Demonstration and Fights Championship on 15th of November 2014. And also Adults Kata,Demonstration and Fights Championship were held on 16th of November 2014.

The Swaziland Branch held the Swaziland IKO Matsushima Oyama Champ of Champs 2014 tourney on the 29th November 2014, in Manzini, Swaziland. the tourney was attended by over 80 fighters from within Swaziland and IKO Matsushima South Africa, who came with South Africa Branch Chief, Shihan Noah Bhembe. On November 22, Narva Sports Complex was held the 9th Open Junior tournament in Kyokushin Karate IKO Matsushima Estonia „NARVA NOORTE KUMITE 2014“. was held on 11 and 12 October in the city of Dourados / MS the 12th Brazilian Kyokushinkaikan Karate IKO Matshima Championship. Was attended by 320 athletes from various brazilian states: São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Tocantins, Pará and the Chilean team by Branch Chief Sensei José Molina.

Volyn Region Tournament was held in Lutsk,Ukraine on November 15th 2014. This competition has turned into good tradition and grand occasion for all karate fighters from Volyn. Pupils of Branch Chief Shihan Dmytro Volynets from all schools in Lutsk and Kovel took part in the tournament. Altogether there were 150 karate fighters in 27 categories, including the youngest sportsmen – children from kindergartens.

Everybody enjoined friendships each others.Unfortunately some countries couldn’t attend for the visa’s problems.

It is great honor to be able to welcome Honorable President Jacob Zuma, Sport Minister of South Africa & Swaziland and Durban Mayer. The championships was huge success. I would like to say many thanks,President Shihan Khaniysani Mazibuko,South Africa Branch Chiefs,Officials,sponsors and all peoples who paid efforts for the success.
The President Jacob Zuma’s speech started” OSU”. He continued that International Full contact Karate Championships was organized in South Africa at first time.

The training seminar and Dan test were held in I.C.C. after the championships.

At next morning many members visited Shihan Sabela’s grave with walking in the city. He passed away suddenly on February in this year. The World Cup in South Africa was his dream.
