KYU BELT CEREMONY HELD IN IQUIQUE, CHILE
On Saturday 24th, June more than 40 students received their new certificates and kyu belts in a very significant belt ceremony held at Matsushima Norhtern Area Hombu Dojo in Iquique- Chile.
Students from 6 to over 40 years old got their new belts. Parents and family were present to accompany all these students on this important step in their kyokushin karate training.

On Sunday June 04, 35 students from 8 to 43 years old were examined for more than 4 hours in different tests, starting with Kihon Wasate and Wasgeri, then Idogeiko and Katas. During the second part of this Kyu test students went through Physical tasks, Tameshiware and finally Kumite.
Parents, family and friends of the students gathered at the local University Arturo Prat to watch the progress children, teens and adults have made through months of hard and intensive training.
Sensei Freddy Segovia expressed his truly satisfaction when seeing his students fulfilled all the objectives established for this new IKO Matsushima Northern Area Kyu test.

Croatian IKO Matsushima Spring Camp 2017 was held on 29th and 30th of April in Spa center Topusko, Croatia.
In two days, 5 training sessions were held throughout all aspects of kyokushin karate – kihon, kata and kumite plus Nunchaku and Bo technicks.
Additionally, there were many games and entertainment for all the participants.
