On 26th,27th Nov.2016 only once every four years, the 5th I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA World Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament and the 5th I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA World Open Women Weight Kyokushin Karate Tournament were successfully held at Yamato Citizen Gymnasium Maebashi in Gumma Pref. These events were supported by Maebashi Sport Commission.

40th Australian Kyokushin Open National Championships were held on 20-21 Aug 2016 in Sydney,Australia. On 20th Aug Non Contact Karate Tournament was held. Beforehand the seminar was held at Bondi Beach. On 21st Aug Kyokushin Full Contact Championships was held at Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre. Both of two days hot battle has been waged with a lot of attendance and audience. On second days Memorial event of 40th Anniversary Championships,Medal were passed to persons of merit.

After having a test for fifth kyu and under on 12 April and a training for instructors on 25-26 April,IKKA IKO Matsushima Indonesia held a Kumite and Kata mini tournament on 24 May 2015 with 38 participants.
The most interesting bouts in the event were in kids division and ladies,who fought vigorously.We saw some improvement in performing Kata as well.

On May 30, 2015, we performed National Karate Ikomatsushima Championships, the event was realize in the city of La Serena.
In this National competition participated a total of 160 athletes from the Junior, Adult and Senior categories, novice and expert.
This major championship has been held for 7 years on the same date and the last 3 versions of the event is an great level.

Visit to Denmark
President Matsushima visited to Denmark first time. Spring has come,but don’t forget winter coat. There are not so high-rise buildings in Copenhagen. Because the government control it.
The city is harmoniously. Any way there are a lot of bicycles everywhere and bicycle lane is secured. Foreign people have to care and don’t stand at this lane.
I visited Vikingeskibshallen(Viking Museum) in Roskilde. There are large green fields in the suburbs of Roskilde and beautiful area.
I visited Danish Parliament with guide of I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA members. There is Karate Dojo and training gym. The guard of the royal palace rehearsed for the ceremony of Queen’s birthday.
On a rainy day we visited Kronborg Slot(Palace) …

It is great honor to be able to welcome Honorable President Jacob Zuma, Sport Minister of South Africa & Swaziland and Durban Mayer. The championships was huge success. I would like to say many thanks,President Shihan Khaniysani Mazibuko,South Africa Branch Chiefs,Officials,sponsors and all peoples who paid efforts for the success.
The President Jacob Zuma’s speech started” OSU”. He continued that International Full contact Karate Championships was organized in South Africa at first time.
