On Sunday, January 08 Kyu Grading process was held in Concepcion with the participation of students from in the South region of Matshushima Chile.
This examination was directed by Sensei Claudio Toledo and instructors from this Southern area attended as well
All the students passed this test according to the parameters established by IKO MATSUSHIMA CHILE, fulfilling physical, technical and strength requirements satisfactorily.

On Saturday January 7 in the municipality of San Pedro de la Paz District, Concepción – Chile, the 2nd IKO Matsushima Chile Regional Tournament was held.
IKO Matsushima Chile South area through its Dojo san Pedro organized this event with participation of other Karate Organizations such as Shidokan Soeno, Kyokushin Union and Kyokushin World Budokai and Matsushima Chile Regional Dojos from Tome, Penco, Chiguayante, Concepción and also athletes of Hombu Dojo from Matsushima Santiago, the capital of our country.

Indonesian Kyokushin Karate Association IKO Matsushima held an all kyu grading on Sunday 18 December 2016 at a Sport Hall in Nothern Jakarta.

Ukrainian Open Kyokushinkaikan karate cup among children and juniors was held in Brovary on November 4, 2016. More than 200 fighters from many regions of Ukraine came to Kyiv region this year. Sportsmen fought in 30 categories. Main organizer of the competition was Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan karate federation and its Kyiv regional organization in the person of sensei Gavrylyuk Andriy.
In the beginning Dmytro Volynets greeted the competitors with opening speech: “We returned from the 5th World championship in Japan several days ago. Ukrainian Open Kyokushinkaikan karate championship among men and women and All-Ukrainian tournament among juniors were held in Dnipro on November 12th, 2016. More than 100 best sportsmen from all the regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. The competition was organized by Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan karate federation – Shihan Dmytro Volynets, and Dnipropetrovsk regional organization of the federation. Main organizational duties were performed successfully by sensei Dmytro Golovin and sempai Yaroslav Goncharenko.

Volyn region championship was held traditionally in Lutsk,Ukraine on October 22nd, 2016. The competition gathered more than 150 sportsmen from Lutsk and Kovel. They fought in 28 age and weight categories. 5 categories were formed of sportsmen attending karate sections in kinder-gardens, and the youngest fighter was only 4 years old.
Spectators of the tournament could observe growth of Volyn karate fighters in comparison to the previous year – both in skills and physical level. IKO MATSUSHIMA INDONESIA IKKA TOURNAMENT NOVEMBER 2016
On Sunday 13 November 2016,IKKA held an interdojo tournament in our main Dojo,participated by Dojos from Jakarta,Banten,also from Surabaya and Malang,cities in East java.
47 members took part in Kata and in Kumite.
We saw some progress in Kata competition,while still have some works to do in Kumite.
