On Saturday January 7 in the municipality of San Pedro de la Paz District, Concepción – Chile, the 2nd IKO Matsushima Chile Regional Tournament was held.
IKO Matsushima Chile South area through its Dojo san Pedro organized this event with participation of other Karate Organizations such as Shidokan Soeno, Kyokushin Union and Kyokushin World Budokai and Matsushima Chile Regional Dojos from Tome, Penco, Chiguayante, Concepción and also athletes of Hombu Dojo from Matsushima Santiago, the capital of our country.

More than 85 athletes participated with great spirit of camaraderie and respect. The tournament was conducted within the rules and philosophy of kyokushin karate and outstanding referees and judges role also played an important aspect in this tournament.

This activity was directed by Sensei Claudio Toledo with the help of students and instructors from Santiago and other Dojos from Central area of Chile.
