The 1st IKKA(Indonesia) Interdojo mini Tournament
On 10th November 2013,Indonesian Kyokushin Karate Association IKO Matsushima organized its first mini tournament since the declaration of IKKA in September 2012.
It was held at our main dojo in BSD City,Banten province.
Everybody,including the beginners, was very excited and trying their best,contributing their efforts to make this tournament a success.
Younger fighters who adapt to our new programmes of training as in IKO Matsushima clearly exceed their peers in this tournament.
Hopefully we will get better and better in the near future.

IKO Matsushima Croatia Tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina – BiH Kyokushin Open 2013
International Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament BiH Kyokushin Open was held in Donji Žabar, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 26th of October, 2013 in co organization of Kyokushin Budokai Kan Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian Kyokushinkai Union.
On tournament, 20 teams with 165 competitors from different organizations from Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia were competed in 21 categories from kids to adults.
IKO Matsushima organization represented by three branches: Montenegrin, Serbian and Croatian.

WOMEN Lightweight CHAMPION Angelina Byvsheva – Russia

Volyn regional Kyokushinkaikan Karate Championship(Junior Youth) was held in Lutsk on October 26th 2013.
The event took place in sport complex of school 18. More than 100 fighters from Volyn region took part in the tournament. The youngest sportsmen were only 5-6 years old.
There were also many spectators, so the hall was completely full. Two local TV channels shot the fights for broadcasting and news. The most exciting moment was exhibition performance of adult fighters. After it the spectators applauded to
the echo.

On Sunday,8th September 2013 ,a kyu test for members 5th kyu and under was held in IKKA main dojo in BSD City,Banten province.
26 participants were trying their best in the test that lasted for four hours.After finishing the Basic ,tests for each grup of 10 th- 9th kyu,8th-7th and 6th-5th kyu was done separately in different rooms,doing Idogeiko and Kata.They gather again in the last test ,the Kumite.

The Canadian camp was held from Sept.20 to the 22 at OLD ORCHARD BEACH MAINE U.S.A .
We worked Kihon,Ido Keiko, self defense on Bunkai Kata pplication and mostly Bow,Tonfa and Nunchug Kata. I had about 45 Students who participated and they all had a great experience.

Summer Camp Kyokushin Karate was held in Ząb near Zakopane on days 17-23 August 2013 in Poland . The organizer of the camp was Kyokushin Karate Matsushima Poland . In the camp participated 40 people. The main instructor was sensei Robert Wyciszkiewicz – 3 Dan – Branch Chief Poland and sempai
Mariusz Szymkiewicz – 1 Dan. In additional to daily trainings, camp participants had acces to: courts for basketball, volleyball, football, swimming pool, trip to the mountains and barbecue. During the camp took place Kata tournament and kyu test.

Mexican Tournament was held in Mexico City on 13th Aug.2013
The tournament was held for honoring as every year since 2011 to our teacher Shihan Krame.
We had the opportunity to arrange a seminar addressed by Chile Branch Chief;Claudio Toledo, it was divided in 2 sessions of 4 hours each before tournament. That was a great chance for us to learn a lot, mainly in Ido Geiko and Kata.
The tournament had participants from other styles that are friends of us, they like Kyokushin kumite so they want to learn and improve their skills with the help of us.

IKO Matsushima Kyokushinkaikan’s 5th European Summer Training Camp was another essential success!
From Tuesday July 23rd till Saturday 27th 2013 IKO Matsushima members from 15 countries participated in this year’s EKO-camp.
The camp was conducted by IKO Matsushima Italy in the Borgo Cardigliano resort in the extraordinary surroundings of the Salento peninsula.
