TRAINING SESSIONS AND BLACK BELT PROGRAM AT ANTOFAGASTA, II REGION- CHILE
Training sessions and a black belt program were held on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of July in Antofagasta, II region in Chile with more than 32 participants, including children, youngsters and adults from the cities of Iquique and Antofagasta.
The training sessions started on July 27th with intensive basic and kihon no kata techniques and extended for more than 4 hours in the morning with a recess of 1 hour and continuing in the afternoon with katas and the Black Belt program where shodan and nidan black belts from the northern region of our country worked for more than 3 hours with specific group of students, including large groups of beginners – white belts -..
On Sunday 28th special kumite training techniques were the basement of the morning and early afternoon sessions.
Branch Chief Sensei Claudio Toledo and sensei Freddy Segovia, in charge of the Northern region in Chile were in charge of conducting the whole program.
Sempai Luis Montoya from IKO Matsushima Antofagasta thanked, at the end of the activities , all the students for this tremendous demonstration of true Kyokushin courage and spirit !.
