The 9th Kyokushin China Open Tournament was held from 1st. to 3rd. October in Nanjing,China.
Organized by IKO Matsushima Nanjing branch,attended by 468 fighters, Our tournament went through 3 days of fierce fighting of kata and kumite compitition.
It’s our honor that Hanshi John Taylor ,Russia Branch Chief　Sensei Alexander Udodov and Indonesia Branch Sensei Chief　Setia Purnama as well as Sensei Takabuthi and other branch chiefs of China shibu had led their teams to participate in , and made great effort to this grand event to be successful.
Fighter Tamasin Walsh,Shannyn Johnstone-Ward,Mohammad Rezaie from Australia Shibu had won the champion of woman’s light-weight, woman’s heavy weight and man’s heavy weight group as a reward to their superb skills and fighting spirit.
On the 4th. Oct. John Taylor Hanshi had given us a inspiring seminar in Nanjing honbu dojo,which and been attended by about over 90 students. In the afternoon, Taylor Shihan had supervised and graded our dan test.
