On 25 September,IKO Matsushima Indonesia held a special training for instructors focusing on Kata.

Last September 25th the second grading test for this year took place in local University “Arturo Prat” Gymnasium where 27 students among children, youth and adults participated. For more than three hours all examinees had to overcome the various tests to obtain a new degree in Kyokushin Karate.
The physical test was the first requirement to be fulfilled, then Kihon Geiko, Idogueiko, Katas, Kumite, Tameshiwari and finally when fatigue was already reflected in students, while showing a great spirit and strength in the last test anyway.

40th Australian Kyokushin Open National Championships were held on 20-21 Aug 2016 in Sydney,Australia. On 20th Aug Non Contact Karate Tournament was held. Beforehand the seminar was held at Bondi Beach. On 21st Aug Kyokushin Full Contact Championships was held at Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre. Both of two days hot battle has been waged with a lot of attendance and audience. On second days Memorial event of 40th Anniversary Championships,Medal were passed to persons of merit.

Seminar were held in the city of Naviraí – MS / Brasil from 15th till 18th September, giving teachings Kyokushinkaikan Karate.
In 15,16th Oct. the lessons Karate Kyokushinkaikan was held. On 17th Oct.Kata and Referee course of IKO Matsushima were held.
In the 17th,18th the 7th Interstate Championship Karate Kyokushinkaikan was held, with the presence of 300 athletes and participation of the states of Mato Grosso do Sul, Sao Paulo, Parana, Para and Uruguay.

Matsushima Karate Tournament was held in Santiago, Chile on 1st October(Sat) as a last instance of competition for the group of athletes who will travel to Matsushima Karate World Tournament to be held next November in Japan.
About 60 competitors participated in children’s, youth and adult categories. In addition Kata competition between the children and youth categories was performed to demonstrate technical skills among the youngest students which represent the basement of Karate Matsushima in Chile.
Students and instructors from different áreas of the country – North and South were present making possible once more to show audience and everyone present at the stadium the true spirit of kyokushin karate.

The 17th south Indian open Kyokushin Karate tournament was held in Tamilnadu on 2nd October 2016.
It is first open tournament in Tamilnadu successfully conducted with 86 participants in 4 categories from 5 various states.

”Kyu-test was held in Nutrikhin Dojo in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Russia).
In first day about 120 students show their knowledges and abilities in programm on belts (especially in kata (every perform and show alone!)) and try come through selection, that get on main examination.
On second day was admits 59 students and they all successfully grading on next belt.

IKO MATSUSHIMA INDONESIA IKKA KYU TEST AUGUST 2016
Indonesian Kyokushin Karate Association IKO Matsushima again held a grading for 5th Kyu and under on Sunday 7 August 2016 at IKKA main Dojo.
95 members took part at the same time,and a group of eight kids will have a separated test in the next two weeks.
All went through the grading in a relatively hot and humid morning,doing Kihon,Idogeiko,Kata and Kumite.

The IKO Matsushima Hungary has held its traditional summer training camp. It was organized at Mezokovesd city from 02.08.2016 to 07.08.2016.The trainings were directed by Shihan Toth Zsolt, Shihan Gyarmati Imre, Shihan Orehovszki Zoltan and Shihan Toth Peter. During the trainings the condition was improved, and the team dealt a lot with the kihon and kata practising. Those who has higher ranked belts were doing bo jitsu as well. The trainig camp was closed with the belt exam.

Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate Federation has held traditional summer training camp. It was held at a recreation center near the Pisochne lake (Volyn region, Turiysk district, village Ozeryany) from 3rd to 10th of July 2016. Main instructor of the camp was our Branch-chief, Shikhan Dmytro Volynets. 70 karate fighters joined the camp this year, including sportsmen from Dnipro (trainer Sensei Dmytro Golovin).
Training schedule was very intense and included four trainings each day. In the morning fighters ran a cross, and its distance increased every day. Kata was mastered at the mid-day training, and the evening training included general physical exercises, work in pairs, self-defense against knife attack and kumite training. …
