Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate championship among juniors was held in Lutsk on March 24th, 2018. The championship was organized by Ukrainian kyokushinkaikan karate federation and its Volyn branch, directed by the head of the federation Shihan Dmytro Volynets (5th dan, Lutsk). The competition was conducted under supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. 170 sportsmen from 11 regions of Ukraine and Belarus took part in the championship. In total, there were 22 weight categories. This year kata competition was introduced to the championship, and 35 karatekas competed in the innovation.

International Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament 15th Domenica Cup was held in Sveta Nedelja on March 10, 2018 in organization of I.K.O. Matsushima Kyokushinkaikan Croatia and Kyokushin Karate Club Domenica Sveta Nedelja.
The main sponsors of the tournament were the Prefect of the Zagreb County Mr. Stjepan Kožić and the Mayor of the city of Sveta Nedelja Mr. Dario Zurovec.
On tournament participated:
• 48 teams of different kyokushin organization and other styles of martial arts with total number of 280 competitors from kids to adults
• 107 competitors in 8 categories of Kata competition
• 231 competitors in 35 categories of Kumite competition

SUMMER CAMP KYOKUSHINKAIKAN 2018.
It took place on 27 and 28 January 2018 in the city of Caraguatatuba / SP, Brazil – the 2nd Summer Camp Kyokushinkaikan.
There were 150 people from the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará and Pernambuco. The organization was of Sensei Gualberto and Junior in conjunction with the supervision of the Brazilian Kyokushinkaikan Federation and Shihan Nagata.
On Saturday we had trainings of Kobudô Kyokushinkaikan Bô taught by Shihan Nagata, Children’s Karate with Sensei Rosalina, Kyu and Dan Test IKO Matsushima, Launching the Book of authorship of Shihan Nagata: KYOKUSHINKAIKAN – martial art – philosophy and culture; and Kata training.

The 9th Winter Camp of the Croatian branch was held in Thermal Spa Topusko from 12th to 14th of January 2018.
Except a members of the Croatian clubs Domenica Sveta Nedelja and Fortis Samobor, on the camp also participated members of the Kyokushin Karate Club Zvonko Osmajlić from Belgrade, Serbia.
Seven training sessions were held, but enough time left for sports games and swimming in the pools, making this camp for the younger members a some kind of winter holidays.
