TRAINING SESSIONS AND BELT TESTS IN THE NORTHERN REGION IN CHILE

On 25th and 26th May in Iquique, 1,800 kilometers from the Capital of Chile Training sessions and exams were held with more than 70 participants from Iquique and Antofagasta – a nearby city – including students from all ages (children, teenagers and adults) attended. Chilean Branch Chief Sensei Claudio Toledo was in charge of directing these intensive Training Sessions, starting June 25th at “Humberstone School” in the morning from 09:00 a.m. till 03:00 p.m. More than 5 hours performing Cardio Work, Katas, Formal Exercises, Combination Pad Work and Fighting Techniques (Kumite). In the afternoon advanced students met at Eagles´ College to work near 3 hours performing katas.
On May 26th a group of students were evaluated on different test requirements to get a new degree in Kyokushin Karate. They worked for almost 5 hours to be promoted .
Sensei Freddy Segovia, Dojo Operator in Iquique and in charge of directing the Northern Region in Chile expressed his satisfaction for the results and great attendance in this activity and thanked Sensei Claudio Toledo for visiting and sharing these moments of pure Kyoksuhin Way.
