I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA Gold Cup Canada Tournament 2012 was held in Montreal, Canada on 10th March by Branch Chief Roman Szyrajew and Ohan Brothers.
The tournament started at 10:00 a.m. and went to 6:30 p.m. as we had 350 participants for children’s kata and kumite. We also had over 18 years of age and seniors participating in both categories. In the evening after this was over, we had the knockdown tournament by weight categories. We also had 3 ring super-fights. The tournament was a great success during the day as in the evening with great attendance by parents, family and the public. The feedback we received from many dojos and spectators was that it was very well organized.
