March 19, Ivanovo (dojo-operator A. Palkin) hosted an open championship of Russia.  Age of participants was from 6 years and older. The tournament was attended by a little less then 600 people from many regions of Russia and from 8 countries. Ukraine had a very big team. The tournament had a very high level of organization, and the skills of  sportsmen were also very high. Every Russian Branch Chief and dojo operator brought his team to the tournament.The tournament was highly appreciated by Russian media and the central television reports.
