IKO MATSUSHIMA NORTHERN AREA ON TV SPORTS SUMMER SHOW

On January 18th IKO MATSUSHIMA NORTHERN AREA participated on a Sports Summer Show on TV in Iquique – Chile. Students and instructors guided by Sensei Freddy Segovia had the chance to perform and demonstrate different aspects of Kyokushin Karate to people who gathered by the seaside that sunny afternoon to watch and enjoy Basic Techniques – Wasageri and Wasate Kihon – , Tameshiwari Techniques, Katas and Kumite.

All this is a live broadcast transmission that lasted for more than an hour.

Sensei Freddy Segovia could explain to thousand of TV viewers the benefits that brings the practice of Matsushima Kyokushin Karate for kids, youngsters and adults and the importance of discipline and self control that go with it.

Audience attending this presentation and TV staff were gladly impressed by techniques and performance shown by students from IKO Matsushima Northern Area and invited us to further presentations to show more of this Martial Art to the community.
