Zakarpattya region IKO Matsushima kyokushinkaikan karate championship was held in picturesque Ukrainian town Mukachevo on April 14th, 2018. The competition hosted 182 sportsmen from different regions of Ukraine.
There were two categories: one for beginners and the second one for experienced fighters. Thanks to this fact many young sportsmen had an opportunity to participate in the competition and showed their potential in sparring fights.
All the prize-winners were granted corresponding championship awards. There also were special prizes: “The best technique” and “Will for victory”. And the most pleasant prize of the championship was a yellow scooter. It was granted to the best fighter of the competition – Kuchinka Petro.

Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate championship among juniors was held in Lutsk on March 24th, 2018. The championship was organized by Ukrainian kyokushinkaikan karate federation and its Volyn branch, directed by the head of the federation Shihan Dmytro Volynets (5th dan, Lutsk). The competition was conducted under supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. 170 sportsmen from 11 regions of Ukraine and Belarus took part in the championship. In total, there were 22 weight categories. This year kata competition was introduced to the championship, and 35 karatekas competed in the innovation.

International Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament 15th Domenica Cup was held in Sveta Nedelja on March 10, 2018 in organization of I.K.O. Matsushima Kyokushinkaikan Croatia and Kyokushin Karate Club Domenica Sveta Nedelja.
The main sponsors of the tournament were the Prefect of the Zagreb County Mr. Stjepan Kožić and the Mayor of the city of Sveta Nedelja Mr. Dario Zurovec.
On tournament participated:
• 48 teams of different kyokushin organization and other styles of martial arts with total number of 280 competitors from kids to adults
• 107 competitors in 8 categories of Kata competition
• 231 competitors in 35 categories of Kumite competition
• 13 countries (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, …

The tournament was held in Traralgon, a country town in Victoria,Australia.The tournament was exceptionally good and the fighting was true Kyokushin. And also the seminar was held in Victoria and Tasmania Branch.
