The 4th Winter Camp of IKO Matsushima Kyokushinkaikan Croatia was held from 11th to 13th of January 2013 in Spa center Topusko.
Participants on this Camp were members of Kyokushin karate clubs ”Fortis” Samobor and ”Domenica” Sveta Nedelja.
The goal of the camp was preparation for the upcoming competition season. Camp was conducting 6 different trainings from basic techniques with kihon and kata to combat techniques and kumite.
Training took place in sports hall, gym and weight room. Early morning training sessions were held outside.
Various activities from games to polygons prevailed in the pre-introductory and in the concluding part of training with use of nunchaku, ball and jumping rope as the main training aid.
For the participants it was also some kind of winter holidays with a lot of funs such are bathing in the indoor and outdoor thermal pools, bowling, etc. Special atmosphere gave the snow that fell on the last day of the camp.
