“Was held Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the palace of Corigliano d’Otranto the first phase of the Stage Karate Kyokushinkai IKO Matsushima Italy.
The Stage was directed by Shihan Casto Samuele, assisted by Sensei Donato, Sensei Fina and Sensei Rosati.
The Dojo who participated in the first of three sessions of training Kyokushinkai karate are: Dojo Parabita – Shihan Casto, Dojo Taranto – Sensei Rosati, Dojo San Giorgio Jonico – Sensei Fina, Dojo Corigliano – Sensei Puce, Dojo Bari – Senpai Curci, Dojo Sannicola- Senpai Zocco dojo Collepasso Senpai Greco, Dojo Carpignano Senpai Calo, for a total of about 80 athletes.
After a warm-up that involved with all the athletes, the training continued with the division into groups 1° Kyu & black belts, kids & adults and children group.
With this division, the instructors were able to make their teaching according to the specific group to which they were dedicated.
Each group has been engaged in an exercise that involved the Kata, Kumite and techniques of self-defense.
After this stage, all the athletes were able to apply some of the lessons learned with the free Kumite (free fighting), which was directed by Shihan Casto.
Completed the 1st phase, the IKO Matsushima Italy is preparing for the next event of this type to be held on the morning of 18 November 2012 from 09.00 to 12.00 hours at the palace of Corigliano. “
