The 7th I.K.O.MATSUSHIMA European Kyokushin Karate Tournament was held in Eger,Hungary on 15th Oct.2011.
It was organized very successfully. Though it was regret matter that Afghanistan,Iraq,Iran,India and Pakistan teams couldn’t get visa,Russia,Canada and U.S.A. teams attended.
The 1st European Championships was held in Hungary 12 years ago. At that time 10 countries attended. In this year above 20 countries took part.
Winner of heavy weight division of men; Vasim Samedov(Russia) has been won at International Campionships. Though people paid attention to Sergey Doronin(Ukraine) of middle weight,he has lost the match with Victor Prochenko(Russia). At light weight; Imre Gyarmati(Hungary) got 1st place with expectation of audience.
At middle weight division of women Maka Keburia(Georgia) and Lilla Herczeg(Hungary) fought at finals. There were same match with them at finals before. Maka Keburina got 1st place. At light weight of women Mariya Zhukovskaya (Russia) won and she also has been won at before International Championships.
Almost 500 people include supporters enjoyed Sayonara Party.
