GRADING PROCESS IN REHABILITATION CENTER IN KARATE MATSUSHIMA CHILE
In “Puente Alto”, located 30 kilometers from the city of Santiago, it is located A DRUG AND ALCOHOL REHABILITATION CENTER – VIVIR LIBRES – Where since February 2015 Karate Matsushima started to be taught there as a special part of the Rehabilitation Treatment these young people need to receive.
Sempai Francisco Almuna, fom Matsushima Puente Alto – Dojo Okoro – is in charge of teaching the basic principles of Kyokushin Karate under these difficult circumstances.
On Sunday 8 November, the first grading exam was held where 9 students from this program were tested to get their 10th Kyu.
This activity was directed by Sensei Claudio Toledo with the help of students from Hombu Dojo Santiago and Sempai Francisco Almuna and his students from Okoru Dojo as well.
Great kime and high spirit was present all along the grading process. At the end of the exam students expressed the great contribution Kyokushin Karate has helped them in terms of Discipline and Self determination to achieve goals set to get free from Drugs and Alcohol.
The first verse from Dojo Kun takes an important and significant role in every class when trainig Kykoksuhin Karate within the walls of this Reahabilitation Center.
